Trong tiếng anh, ta hãy thường gặp các câu sử dụng phép so sánh ngang bằng, so sánh hơn, so sánh hơn nhất. Bài viết này sẽ giúp các bạn hiểu rõ hơn và bên dưới là một số bài tập áp dụng.
-So sánh bằng:
S1+ V + so/ as + adj/ adv+ as+ S2
Vd: This building is so tall as that building.
-So sánh hơn:
+Với các tính từ ngắn, ta thêm _er vào sau tính từ : stronger, smaller, taller…
+Đối với tính từ ngắn có nguyên âm kẹp giữa hai phụ âm, ta gấp đôi phụ âm cuối: hotter, bigger,...
+ Với các tính từ ngắn tận cùng là 'y'=> ta biến đổi y -> ier
+ Với tính từ dài, ta thêm từ _more trước các tính từ: more exciting, more interesting, more comfortable…
+ Cấu trúc:
S+ V+ Adj/ adv so sánh hơn+ than + S2
Vd: this building is taller than that building.
Lan is more intelligent than Hoa.
-So sánh nhất:
+Đối với tính từ ngắn: thêm đuôi _est vào sau tính từ: strongest, smallest, tallest..
+ Với các tính từ ngắn tận cùng là 'y'=> ta biến đổi y -> iest
+Đối với tính từ dài: thêm từ most vào trước tính từ dài: most comfortable, most interesting…
+Cấu trúc: S+ V+ the+ adj/adv so sánh hơn nhất+ danh từ
