Trong tiếng anh lớp 8, ta gặp thường xuyên các mệnh đề với "so,such, too, enough". Bài viết dưới đây sẽ giúp các bạn hiểu rõ hơn các cấu trúc này và bên dưới là một số bài tập áp dụng.
Bài tập so sánh rất hay gặp trong các kỳ thì tiếng anh từ cơ bản tới nâng cao
*S+ V+ adj/ adv+ enough+ to+ V giữ nguyên
Vd: He is old enough to understand that.
He didn't run fast enough to catch the robber.
*S+ V+ too+ adj/ adv+( for sb)+ to V giữ nguyên
Vd: It was too hot to go out.
*S+ V+ such+ + (a/an)+ adj+ danh từ + that+ S+ V
Vd: It was such a big house that we could stay in.
*S+ V+ so+ adj/adv + that + S + V
VD: The house is so big that we could stay in.
*Lưu ý: Trong cấu trúc so, such that …, ta giữ lại từ "it"; còn trong cấu trúc too...to, not … enough… to, ta bỏ từ "it"
Ngoài ra còn có các cấu trúc khác với so và such
S+ V+ so+ many/ few+ Danh từ đếm được số nhiều + that + S+ V
S+ V+ so+ much/ little + Danh từ không đếm được+ that + S+ V
S+ V+ so + adj+ a/ an+ danh từ+ that + S+ V
